I've been shooting for DoorDash a few times and always at such type of photoshoot I was booked first and then I met with the owner or manager.

So for me and for the restaurant our photoshoot is kinda first touch. And it's always important for me to not only follow DoorDash guidelines but also take photos that will show the taste of the food.

That's why I feel that extremely helpful the fact that I can show in real time during the photoshoot the photos we are getting. In this case we can make changes in shot right away and show the dishes in the best appearance.

And at this photoshoot I was realy happy to hear the feedback from the owner of the restaurant.

He mentioned that he worked with photographers from different platforms and he likes how I work and likes my professional approach to the photoshoot.

That's why our first touch is way before our photoshoot because we might need special equipment to do this,
or extra background,
or special types of shots. And it's individual
for each project.

When I work directly with a restaurant and don't have guidelines on how photos are supposed to look like on different platforms, I need to understand the result the customer wants to get.
